  Black ceramic ring has an inlay of beautiful lapis stone. Lapis lazuli is one of the oldest opaque gemstones in history--more than 6,500 years! This deep blue stone includes tiny flecks of mica, like a night sky full of stars. It is not an element nor a mineral--it is a rock containing multiple minerals: lazurite, diopside, calcite, pyrite and more. In the middle ages, painters ground up lapis lazuli to make the deep blue paint called ultramarine.

A bit about black ceramic- Black Diamond Ceramic is a state of the art material.  Ceramic will forever retain its color and shine. It is as scratch-resistant as tungsten carbide, but without the weight. Ceramic is non-metallic which is great for those who may have allergies and our military servicemen and women.
