About the Wool
Seagull - Lightweight Wool
Our premium yarn from South American crossbred sheep, produced exclusively for Dale of Norway. This light and soft yarn is perfect for mid-layer garments requiring a lighter and softer feel. To make it machine washable it undergoes a revolutionary new wool treatment using natural non-toxic salts. Naturally, our wool is mulesing-free. Garments knitted with Seagull can be machine washed using wool-cycle. (Fiber diameter: 27 micron)

The knit pattern on this sweater is taken from our hugely popular 1992 Albertville Olympic sweater. Aspøy is one of five islands on which the picturesque city of Ålesund is located, on the northwest coast of Norway.
